James William "Jim" Gordon is a detective who is also the father of Barbara Gordon and James Gordon, Jr.. He is the husband of the late Barbara Kean and the son of Frank and Patricia Gordon. Jim is also the father-in-law of Dick Grayson. Jim is also a close friend of Bruce Wayne and the rest of the Bat Family.

Personality Edit

James Gordon started out his career as a tough, though pure, detective. Jim was the partner of Harvey Bullock and the two were often paired up with fellow detectives Renee Montoya and Chris Allen. Jim began to lighten up on the criminals he caught though he still would do anything to get bring these criminals to justice. Once he found out that Bruce, Dick, and his daughter were vigilantes he began to bend the law to be able to help them.
